  1. What is the mission of Manual Science Review?

The Manual Science Review is a student-run online publication that aims to inspire, improve, and highlight high quality scientific research undertaken by high school students. The Review will facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas among students, teachers, and the research community at large.

  1. What are the requirements to become a MSR Club member?

There are no “formal” requirements to become a member of the Manual Science Review. Members (and non-members) can participate in our publication, seminars and lectures. We are always on the look out for motivated individuals seeking to join our editorial board and further our mission.

  1. How many students are there in the MSR Club this school year?

Our seminars and lectures had a great turn-outs. You can learn more about the seminars we have conducted at manualscireview.org! In addition, our workshop at Stopher elementary was fully-booked and students had a blast!

  1. What activities have members been involved in over the past few months?

In addition to seminars and lectures aimed at promoting student research and interest, the Manual Science Review has conducted workshops at Stopher elementary to expose students to the scientific method. In addition, we are currently launching a publication aimed at highlighting student research which will publish student research and current scientific trends.

  1. What are some goals for the rest of the year?

Our primary goal for the rest of the school year is to publish our publication with the phenomenal student research that happens at Manual and in our local community.

  1. Why do you think students should consider becoming members of the MSR Club?

The Manual Science Review offers a plethora of services and tools to help any student further their scientific research and interests. Our publication offers a great platform for fledgling scientists and engineers alike to present their work in a formal peer-reviewed setting. In addition, we invite professors and other research professionals from around the Louisville community to discuss their experiences and share advice with students.
